Every good gift and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from The Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of Turning ( NKJV).

Good gifts are from Heaven. They are not from mortal human beings. They come down from the Heavenly Father. God the Father loves you and wants to bestow good gifts on you, since He loves us with an everlasting love. The first gift is Eternal Life.

ETERNAL LIFE

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord ( Romans 6:23).

Death is separation from the world or separation from God. There are three types of death : 1. physical death, 2. spiritual death, 3. eternal death . The devil steals, kills, and destroys. The good news is the devil was defeated on the cross of calvary of Golgotha

About 2000 years back. Jesus our LORD CONQUERED HIM ON THE CROSS. Jesus

Gave us His life ( zoe= the life of God ) to us, when we believed that Jesus is the Son of the Living God. We have life in our spirit. Because of this regeneration, we are born again. “ Having born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever” ( 1 Peter 1:23). Therefore, we are born again not by the flesh, but according to the regeneration work of the Holy Spirit, which is now living , dwelling and abiding in us..

What a wonderful gift! Eternal life! The gift of God! This is our Fater’s gift. The next gift is the Son of God’s gift to us, which is similar to this gift, but this manifests in our life which is salvation.

SALVATION

Let us read Ephesians 2:8, which states:

“ For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God “.

“By grace, i.e., God’s unmerited favor, you are saved ( delivered from judgement and made partakers of Christ’s salvation ) through your faith. That is what ACTS 16: 31

Says….” “ Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved and your household”.

When we receive God’s gift of eternal life we are saved. The best concept underlying

“ salvation” or “ being saved “ is deliverance. God gave us a wonderful promise this week from Isaiah 46: 4 …” I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and I will deliver you”. Yes, He delivers us from the enemy and bad people. He will deliver us. Salvation is forgiveness of sins, deliverance, protection, success and having the zoe life.

The next precious gift is the gift of the Holy Spirit.

HOLY SPIRIT

On the day of Pentecost, in his first sermon to the Jewish people, Apostle Peter said in Acts 2: 38 :

“ Then Peter said to them, ‘ Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”..

i) Repent ( change of mind and direction)

ii) Be baptized ( Identifying with the death and resurrection of Jesus from your good conscience),

iii) Your sins are remitted( forgiven),

iv) Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit ( baptism of infilling of the Holy Spirit With the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues) ,

v) The promise is for you and your children.

This was prophesied by the Holy Prophets of the O.T. Isaiah 44: 3 says:

“ For I will pour water on him, who is thirsty and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspiring’.

Prophet Joel prophesied about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Joel 2:28:

“ And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”.

Infilling of the Holy Spirit makes you strong by changing your carnal nature. You receive a divine nature and divine power to be an effective witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. For that you need to follow the three steps listed in Acts 2:38. This is the firm foundation

For the Christian life. All other manmade philosophies and stories are sinking sand. The next gift is good family life!

FAMILY , HOUSES AND RICHES

Let us now read some verses in the book of Proverbs:

He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and
Obtains favor from the LORD . ( Proverbs 18:22 ) .

Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. ( Proverbs 19:14)

Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies. ( Proverbs 31:10).

The man who finds a wife or the woman who finds her husband finds a good thing, By this one obtains favor from the Lord. Someone who ministers for Jewish people prophesied very accurately over my life, that this year is the year of favor from the Lord.

For those who are expecting God’s favor, this year will be the year of prophetic fulfillment of all the promises spoken over your life. God is a good God and devil is the bad devil. We are not ignorant of his devices. God has good plans for your life. All things are possible. Expect a miracle( the first miracle of Jesus ) in your life. Let us be led by the Spirit of God.
