1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.( The Apostle Paul ).

Zacchaeus the name means pure. He wanted to be pure, clean and holy man. The Bible says three things about him: 1. He was a man actually lived in Jericho, 2. He was the chief tax collector, and 3.he was rich. One –ve feature about him was: he was little of stature. He had family and children, perhaps many children. His No.1. desire was to see Jesus. For the Bible says: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

His desire motivated him to take some action: he ran before, he climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him. When Jesus came to the place, the Holy Spirit prompted Him to look up and He saw him hiding behind the green leaves of the sycamore tree. Here comes the red letters:

“ Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down;
For today I must abIde at thy house”.

Immediately, he obeyed the words of the Savior. There are so many modern day 21 st century zacchaeus’s appearing in the TV and Media. The aim is to collecting money and becoming rich. Like this Zacchaeus, there are some TV Evangelists in T.N. India, who do not have Jesus in their hearts, but they have love of money in their hearts. My dear Zacchaeus, Jesus wants to come into your house, that is in your heart and life. Your sorrow will turn into joy. He made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. Without Jesus, you can not be happy in this world. The real joy is in receiving and having Jesus in your heart and life. Jesus wants to live and dwell in your house spiritually.

By the invitation of Zacchaeus, Jesus came into his house. The house became a happy, generous and salvation house. Jesus became zacchaeus’ Savior and Lord. He called him his Savior and Lord. Zacchaeus believed in Jesus. Zacchaeus became a changed, generous person. He decided to give 50% of his wealth to poor, and fourfold restitution, if had taken by false accusation from any man. Zacchaeus was totally, positively changed person, when Jesus came into his life. Jesus said: This day is salvation ( means: forgiveness of sins, healing, success, deliverance, prosperity, etc.,) come to this house. Zacchaeus, a son of Abraham became a child ( or son ) of the Almighty God Jesus. Praise God. Zacchaeus House became a House of Joy, A House of Salvation and a House of Generosity. God Bless you.

Jesus said: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1: 12).

Prayer: Loving Father God, I come to you to see Jesus crucified. Lord Jesus, come into my heart. I believe you’re my savior and Lord. Please forgive my sins, and change my life for the better. Wash me clean through the precious blood of Jesus. I confess publically Jesus is my Lord and He died for my sins instead of me and rose again from the dead. Jesus is alive today. I believe I am a child of God. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus precious Name I pray. Amen.
