We are given God’s precious promises. These promises are useful for our day to day life. St.Paul says, “For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him, Amen, to the glory of God through us”. Let me explain five important promises of God to you today:

1. Promise of Eternal life,1. Jn. 2:25; Jn. 3:16 & Jn. 17:3
2. Rest for God’s People, Heb 4:1,9,10;Matt 11:28; Jer. 6:16
3. Holy Spirit is promise of the Father,Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:38
4. Bodily Healing, Exo. 23:25; Isai. 53:4,5;Matt. 8:16, 17;1 Pet. 2:24
5. Material prosperity, Jos. 1:8; Ps. 1:1-3;Matt. 6:33

1. Eternal Life :

Jesus said: “And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3).

Knowing and having fellowship with the true God is everlasting life. Believing the Son of God Jesus, you have everlasting life. What is eternal life?

1. It is the gift of God, revealed in Jesus Christ, who is God (Jn.1:4;1 Jn. 1:1-2).
2. Eternal is the life of God, which was revealed in Christ, is imparted in a New Birth by the Holy Spirit, acting upon the Word of God, to every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, John 3:1-21.
3. The recipient of this new life is a new creature, 2. Cor. 5:17; Gal. 6:15.
4. The life of God which is in the believer is an unsevered part of the life which eternally was, and eternally is, in Christ Jesus - one life in Him and in the believer, Vine and branches, Head and members (Jn. 15:1-5; 1. Cor 6:17; Gal. 2:20; Col. 1:27; 3:3-4; 1.Jn. 5:11-12).

In the O.T. God is the LORD, The LORD God Almighty. In the N.T.God is our Father. God loves you. All are God’s creation. But, believers are His sons and daughters. How to receive Eternal life?

1. Believe Jesus is the Son of God
2. Believe God the Father raised Him, from the dead
3. Confess Jesus Christ is LORD (Jn. 3:16; 20:31; Rom. 10:8-10)

Confess : I have the life of God (Zoe) on the inside of me, just as the Father has the life on the inside of Him.

2. Rest for the People of God:

By faith in God, we can enter into His rest. The people of Israel could not enter into His rest, because of their unbelief. God was angry with that generation. They did not enter God’s rest. But, our LORD Jesus in this Gospel age gives us rest when we come to Him and believe on Him for our great salvation.

Jesus Said : “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matt. 11:28-30).

I am telling the truth to you: Come to Jesus, He will give you rest. Hear His words, follow His Commandments, You will have peace of mind. In the world, there is hard work load to earn for your daily life. In Him, life is easy. His burden is light. Truly, we have refreshment, rest and New Energy in Jesus. Energy can neither be created, nor be destroyed. But it can be converted from one form to another form. Jesus imparts new energy in you, by His word and the power of the Holy Spirit. So that, your youth is renewed like an eagle. Jesus gives you peace which passes all understanding. And the next promise is the promise of the Father.

3. The Promise of the Father:

Jesus said: “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them” (Lk. 24:49,50).

The Holy Spirit anointing is the promise of the Father. Be thirsty and come to Jesus and believe Him. Out of your inner most being shall flow rivers of living water. Water is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you shall receive power to witness and live a happy life.

The Holy Spirit empowers you. The Holy Spirit makes you strong. The Holy Spirit leads you. The Holy Spirit guides you into all truth. the Holy Spirit teaches you. The Spirit filled life is a victorious life. The Holy Spirit helps you in your prayer life.

How to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit? Repent from idol worship, repent from sinful life. Be baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. God’s free gift of Anointing is yours for the benefit of your spiritual life.

4. Bodily Healing is God’s Promise:

“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you” (Exodus 23:25).

1. Serving the LORD (My time, devotion, talent for the LORD).
2. My bread and my clean water, the LORD will bless.
3. He will take away sickness from the midst of me.

These are God’s precious promises. God wants to heal you. Brother, God is going to heal you. Sister, God is going to heal you. God loves you so much that He does not want you suffer because of lack, insufficiency and disease. Jesus heals you today.

He took your infirmities, sicknesses and weaknesses on Himself on the cross of calvary. Jesus bore your infirmities upon Himself. You do not need to suffer because of diseases. By the stripes of Jesus, you are being healed now. Take it. Enjoy your health and healing. The Apostle John said; “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2).

5. Financial Prosperity is God’s Promise:

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper” (Psalm 1:3).

Prosperity is better than poverty. God wants you prosper financially; He wants you to prosper in your mind and spirit. The Bible says.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

3 conditions 2 Blessings. What are the three conditions for Divine Prosperity?

1. Speak the Word of God loudly through your mouth.
2. Meditate it day and night
3. You observe to do according to God’s word.

If you do this three steps, I believe and declare, i) you will make your way prosperous and ii) you will have good success.

God Almighty bless all you with these five promised blessings, namely: 1. Eternal life, 2. Rest, 3. Holy Spirit, 4. Bodily Healing and 5. Divine Prosperity.
