Introduction: Salvation is possible through the atoning death of Jesus on the cross. God’s will is everyone’s salvation. Every person on the face of the earth should hear the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

After repentance and faith in Jesus, a person is saved by the grace of God, and then you should be filled with the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit enables you to witness to others about Jesus. Everyone shall be sincere and faithful in reaching all the nations of the world through the gospel of God. This is the plan of God.

All the Christians should work together as a team in this manner, and then we can prepare them for the coming again of Jesus Christ our Lord. Those of the believing Christians who are faithful in witnessing will receive a reward from Jesus Himself. We will have the joy of seeing the souls won through our witnessing and the life of testimony. Christians who failed in winning souls lost, will have to give an account of their life before God on the day of Judgement.

Memory Work: Acts 1:8

“ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judes, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.

Memory Work: Acts 1:8

“ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judes, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”.

1. Believers should become a witness for Jesus Christ Himself. ( “ I , if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself” ( John 12;32 ). Believers testimony should uplift Jesus. It is sad to say that some believers don’t even mention the name of Jesus in their testimony, I doubt their salvation. They magnify doctors, denomination, Pastors etc.,

4. The central fact of all testimony about Jesus is His resurrection from the dead. Acts 1:21-22 and 4;33.

5-6 Paul’s testimony is a pattern for all believers. It was based on personal experience. It pointed to Christ Jesus. It proved the record of Scriptures.

7-10 Faithful personal testimony is the most effective way to win other souls to Christ. Peter became the leader among the apostles and the chief preacher. But it was his brother Andrew who first came to Christ and brought Peter in turn. Later, Philip in the way brought Nathanael. Therefore, the pattern for winning souls is set by the apostles themselves.

11. Personal experience speaks louder than words alone.

12. A Christian’s words should be positive and glorifying to God. By this he builds up his own faith and that of others.

13-16,19 The spirit of fear is not from God, and bloks your ability to testify so that others believe. The cure is to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

17(2) The choice between obeying Godand obeying man is often clear- cut. The answer of Peter and John is just as valid today.

18. Prayer is the great weapon given to believers to overcome anything that holds back their testimony.

20-23 Whenever we get a chance to witness, we should not miss that opportunity, which is divine. Ezekiel in the o.T. and Paul in the N.T. understood this. Paul kept back nothing in speaking the whole counsel of God ( Acts 20;27 ). God still requires the same of Christians today. We must have a passion to witness and win souls for Jesus.
