Let us meditate and receive the wonderful good news , the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

“ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life” ( St. John 3:16).

1. The Love of God

These are the very words of Jesus who is our life. We are going to meditate upon the love of God. He is our Father. God decided to give us life through the word of truth. The Bible tells us, ”God is love”. He is love! He loves us. He wanted to make you and recreate you in order to express His love. God says,” I have carried you since you were born; I have taken care of you from your birth. Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you”( Isaiah 46:3-4).

There is a God who made you for a purpose and you are not a statistical random chance in the universe. We need to discover the meaning and purpose of our life on this planet earth. We need to understand that He is our creator God. God says,” I am your creator; you were in my care even before you were born” ( Isaiah 44:2). He cares for you. He cares your total personality just like a loving doctor. God has a wonderful plan for your life just like a wise master builder has a plan for a beautiful building.

God says,” I know what I am planning for you…’ I have good plans for you, not plans to harm you. I will give you hope and a good future” ( Jere.29:11).

God is planning your life. He has good plans for your life. He is not planning to hurt you. God will give you hope in the midst of hopeless situation and a good future Behold. First of all, you need to know that God loves you with an everlasting love. God says, “ come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

2. The Son of God

God gave His only begotten Son. He is Jesus the Son of God. He is the Messiah. Jesus is the lover of my soul. He is your life. Who is Jesus? Let us understand the seven I am statements of Jesus in the gospel of John:

• I am the Bread of life,6:35
• I am the Light of the world,8:12
• I am the door, 10;9
• I am the Good shepherd , 10;11
• I am the Resurrection and the life, 11:25
• I am the way, and the truth and the life,14:6
• I am the true vine, 15;1

Jesus is that I am that I am. He is the LORD. God says,” This is My beloved Son, in Him I am well pleased, hear ye Him”. By virgin birth, Jesus is the Son of God. When He took baptism, God testified that He is the Son of God. ( If you want to receive immersion baptism in water, I ( REV. C. PETER CHANDRAN, The Servant of the Living God) shall baptize you in the river Jordon in Israel this year end- October or November or anytime ). When Jesus transfigured before His loving disciples Peter, John and James, God said Jesus is the Son of God. God raised JESUS from the dead and declared, You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Do you understand, hear and perceive this magnificent truth of the Gospel? God gave His Son Jesus for us on the cross! Think about His love.

3. The Faith of God

The third point in John 3:16 is that whoever believes in Him. Hebrews 11:1 says, “ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen”. Jesus said, “ Have faith in God”. Do you believe in the Son of God? God wants to initiate faith in your heart today. Come to Jesus, He is lovingly inviting you to hear His wonderful life imparting words. If you believe, you will see the glory of God. All thins are possible to him that believes. There is nothing impossible with God. All things are possible. My dear brothers and sisters, confess with me loudly, Lord Jesus, I believe, help my unbelief”, you are healed right now. Several times, I broke out and shed tears in the presence of God for the salvation of souls . Most importantly, Jesus wept for you. Now, He is coming to your place to perform a miracle in your life. If you can believe, all things are possible. Divine healing is possible, Divine prosperity is possible, victory in life is possible, Financial provision is possible, Soul winning is possible. All things are possible! Living by faith is a wonderful life. Galatians 2;20 says:

“ I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me and life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”.

Christ loved you and gave Himself for you. Therefore, you ought to live by the faith of the Son OF God. Christ lives in me, Christ lives in you by faith. Confess: I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live. Crucified life leads to resurrection life and the resurrection life is a victorious Christian life. Whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

4. The Compassion of God

The Scripture says: “ Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”( Luke 13:3). Jesus cast out all the devils from an young boy in the country of Gadarenes. The uncean spirits went out and entered in the swine; About 2000 pigs ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and were choked in the sea. They all perished. The country people came to Jesus, and saw the young boy that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion ( legion means 4000 to 6000 unclean spirits), sitting, clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid. Jesus had compassion on him.The compassion of God in Jesus, the boy was delievered and did not perish with the pigs. The pigs perished, but the young boy became alright and well dressed and in his sober mind and received the great salvation of the LORD. ( Mark 5: 1-20).

The Scripture says in Revelation 21: 7,8:“ He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God( Father ), and he shall be by son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”.

The LORD is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Look for the coming of the day of the Lord( II Peter 3 ). There is a wonderful verse in the old testament, which tells us the mercy and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ: In Lamentations 3: 22,23, the Scripture tells us:“ It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness”.

The LORD is merciful, therefore we are not consumed. The Bible says: Charity ( love) never fails. That is, His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning. God’s faithfulness is great. Jesus had compassion on people and healed them and met their needs. Let me cry out: “ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me”.

The Prophet Joel wonderfully explains the compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Joel 2:12,13, the Scripture says: “ Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil”.

My dear friends, He is gracious and merciful. Let us repent and turn to the Living GOD. He is loving and He is good and His mercy endures forever. He shall pour out His Holy Spirit on you and your children. Praise the LORD.

5. The Life of God

My dear friends, you shall not perish, but you shall have everlasting life even in this world and the world to come here after. “ Have faith in God”, said Jesus ( Mark 11:22). You shall have everlasting life( John 3:16). Peter said, “ Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee. Peter has faith, eternal life and has the spiritual power in the name of Jesus. Jesus came to give us life- the life of God. The life which is in the Father, the same life ( zoe = the life of God), He gives you, when you believe, confess and receive Him. Today, you are born again. You are a child of the Almighty God. Believe and declare that you are born again.

The Scripture says in John 10:10 : “ The thief ( the devil ) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly’. Abundant life consists of :

• An abundant grace ( Rom. 5:17,20)
• An abundance of every good work ( 2 cor. 9:8)
• An abundance of consolation ( 2 cor. 1:5)
• An abundance of love ( 1 thessa. 3:12)
• An abounding … work of the Lord ( 1 cor. 15:58)
• Abounding and thankful faith ( colo. 2:2)

Abundance is fullness in every spiritual, material, physical, social and financial blessings. In God’s presence, there is fullness of joy. Fullness in all the areas of life. Life is wonderful, when you have the life of God in you. I am praying for you all. God bless you with this good news and make you a blessing to nations. Amen. Hallelujah!
