My dear people of God. Good Morning to one and all. Today i want to share an important message with you which the LORD Has put in mine heart, while i was reading My Bible from Matthew chs.11-13 in English on my knees. Dr. George Muller who established many orphanages, constructed educational institutions, read the entire Bible about 200 times, in that he read the Entire Bible 100 times on his knees. I am also following this for the past few days. It is good, i am improving in my body mind and spirit. Glory to God.

Let us meditate Matt.11:25-30 today for our God’s message: In this portion of the scripture we understand about revelation about God the Father and Jesus His Son and the treasures of Wisdom and knowledge in having fellowship with Him and rest and refreshment to our souls. Let me start my message: Saint Matthew 11:25- 30 says:

“25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

GOD THE FATHER

Jesus calls God the Father 5 times in three verses. This revelation of God the Father is not in Jewish Religion or in Islam. They believe in Almighty God, that is good. But, only we Christians believe in God the Father. He is not only the Father of Jesus the Son of God, He is our Father. W e can call upon Him, Appa, Father. Greek language and Tamil language uses the same word APPA or ABBA Father. This is hidden to many people of this world, specially to the wise and Prudent. They are wise according to world’s standard, having degrees consisting of English letters, but they do not have knowledge of God. Let us read Romans 8:15-17:

“15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”

We are the Children of the Almighty God. The spirit of fear is not in us. We have received the Spirit of Adoption. Therefore we cry, Abba Father. God is my Father, He is your Father. His Spirit is in us. We have an inheritance of Eternal life, because of our son-ship. Let us call God, Our Father in our prayer. Again, some hypocrites do not call God the Father, their father is different, they are sons of devil, who is a liar and father of lies.

Revelation knowledge is important to become a minister of the Gospel. And the relationship between God the Father and His Son Jesus is very much essential in our spiritual life. Jesus had this revelation knowledge, Peter obtained this revelation knowledge through the Holy Spirit.

“16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”(Matt.16:16-18).

Jesus is the Christ(Messiah), the Son of the Living God. This is the greatest revelation about Jesus. This truth was revealed of Peter. He became an apostle of Jesus Christ. Jesus blessed him above all his secular talent. Revelation knowledge is necessary in this present day living. God the Father revealed this to Peter. Jesus the Son of God will bless you if you have revelation knowledge about God the Father.

Father Son relationship:

“2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”(Colo.2:2-3).

You should have fellowship with God through Prayer, Bible Reading, Church gathering. Otherwise it is very difficult to grow in spiritual life. Unless you have fellowship with the Almighty, you will not see the glory of God. Do you want your financial needs met? Or do you want to experience in divine healing? Are you in need of spiritual breakthrough anointing? Then God has the solution: That is our relationship with God. Then your hearts will be comforted and you will be knitting together in love. The mystery is this: Fellowship with God. Then the mystery of God will be revealed to you personally: “In Him are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Jesus is the wisdom of God and the power of God. When you believe on Him, you will be blessed with all blessings and goodness of God. There is riches to the children of God. The devil is out in the world to steal these blessings. But He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world. The Bible says that God is rich.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Father speaks to His Son and reveals Him, Himself. Similarly, God reveals Himself with us. When we call upon God the Father, when we worship Him, when we brag about Him, He reveals Himself rich towards us. Our Father is the richest person in the world, who created the Heavens, the earth and the waters. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He is all in all. He is the founder of the earth, which has waters, oil, minerals and other precious resources. The Bible says in John17:3:

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

How to get rest to souls?

The Bible says in Matt.11:28-30 :” 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”There are five ways by which, you can have rest to your soul. They are:

1. God’s presence
2. Walking in the ways of God
3. Takes His yoke
4. Come to Jesus
5. Holy Spirit anointing

These are some of the ways by which you can have peace with God and rest in your souls and refreshment for your bodies. Let us study each one of these constituents of our peace life on this earth. The first way is finding the way of God and letting God’s presence guide you and going before you and letting the crooked places straight:

1. GOD’S PRESENCE

“13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Exodus 33:13,14 7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. Psalm 103:7

God talked with Moses face to face as a man talks to his friend. “I like my friend talking to me, I listen to my friend who preaches God’s word to me”. Here, one time Moses was seeking God’s way, if it is not God’s way, He did not want to go there. He wanted to make sure about his destination. Therefore, he pleaded with God to show His ways. God said: “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest”. Moses found rest in God’s ways by walking through it. In the same way, we should pray every day to show His ways and you walk in it. Then you will have rest for your soul.

2. WALK IN HIS WAYS

“16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16”.

This verse shows you some important guidelines how you should walk in the highways or cross the highways so that you can have every day safety.

1. Stand in the ways
2. See...whether the light is green, yellow or red light
3. Ask for the old paths...good paths, good way
4. And walk therein
5. And you shall find rest for your souls

In some roads of Chennai, i waited 10 minutes to cross the road, then i safely crossed and reached my rented house. Spiritually, Jesus is the way. When you walk through Him, you will find peace and finally, eternal life. Your conscience will speak to you, which is the correct way. God even leads the blind people through a stick and voice. How about you? Are you walking in the ways of God!

3. TAKE JESUS YOKE

Jesus said:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

In Tamilnadu villages, two bulls pull the bullock cart by carrying paddy rice, Ragi, wheat, sugarcane etc., The farmers put yoke on their necks and one horizontal rod and the transverse rod is called yoke. If the weight is light, they(bulls) will happily walk and run on the road carrying the cart and reach the destination. If the weight is high, the weight will produce neck pain.

Unfortunately, the works in the world are producing pain and burden in people’s life. Some company people or college Professors loose their job because of overtime work and devils activities such as betraying one another, ragging , tale bearing, gossip, recording others speech in cell phones and bad mouthing, immorality etc.,. The job is paining in the world, But, if you have Jesus as your LORD and received His love command, ”love your neighbour as yourself”, you will have rest to your mind.
“Read God’s word daily, Make prayer life your regular habit. Let Jesus be your Lord. He shall give you rest.”

4. COME TO JESUS

Jesus says: Come to me. He stretches His both hands and welcomes you into His spiritual classroom. He is not angry with you. He lovingly invites you to His teaching class room. He says: Come to me. All who are weary and burdened because of over work. Some people work 13 hours of unnecessary file or paper works or physical hard work; We need to use our mind, read technical books, prepare notes,educate our mind, think and develop our personality and work smartly, instead of working hard with toil. Jesus is inviting you to a happy, joyful and best life which is full of peace.

Jesus says: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matt.11:28

5. Holy Spirit anointing

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. Isaiah 28:11,12

Some people do not believe in speaking in unknown tongues. But the fact of the matter is that the infilling of the Holy Spirit does many good things to you. It says: God speaks to us through that. He gives us rest and refreshment. Your physical life is restored and renewed. God speaks mystery with us. You avoid vain talks. You are filled with praise and worship to God. You begin to worship God in Spirit and truth. You become a worshipper of the Father God. Therefore the Apostle Paul says: “Be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing songs and hymns, and spiritual songs,making joy in your heart”. Jesus gives you rest to your soul.
