Grace to you and peace from God our Father (ABBA= Pater in Greek) and the Lord Jesus Christ. In this month Newsletter, I would like to share some good thoughts from Ephesians 2:10. This Bible verse says: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which GOD hath before ordained that we should walk in them”.

Introduction:

“In Christ Revelation”(ICR) is the greatest revelation of the Apostle Paul. This is the revelation which is useful for our present days ministry. Ephesians 2:10 is one such revelation. Here Paul says “You are GOD’s workmanship”. One translation says: You are God’s Master piece. In Romans 1:20, a greek word called “poiema” is used, here translated “workmanship”, is translated “things that are made”. These are the only two occurrences of this Greek word from which we get our English word “poem”. Thus, both the created world and the redeemed world are great divine “poems” written by the Creator. Let us read Romans 1:20:

“ For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (poiema), even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse”.

Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship”. God has written two poetic masterpieces, as it were, one in the physical creation, one in the lives of men and women redeemed and saved by His grace (Ephesians 1:7; 2:8). Both give eloquent testimony to the eternal power and Godhead of the Creator/Redeemer.

Each and every Born Again Believer is a New Creation. Salvation is a free gift of God, we did neither work for it nor earn it. The faith for salvation is the gift of God. The gift of God is eternal life. We received this life of God by faith on the Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal life is God’s DNA. When you received this God’s DNA in your spirit, you are born again. You become a little god with a small g ( a child of God). You become a child of the God Most High. The Bible says: “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High”(Psalm 82:6). “Ye are gods”. This verse was quoted by the Lord Jesus Christ(Jo.10:34). He claimed to be the Son of God. We are the children of God. I believe Jesus is my LORD and Saviour.

“ But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name”(Jo.1:12). ’The sons of God ‘is actually ‘Children of God’. By regeneration, they become new creatures, “born of God”. There is a connection between creation and regeneration.

St. Paul says:”You are God’s workmanship”, created in Christ Jesus for Good works. Christ means the anointed One. Jesus anoints you with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. When this holy oil is applied on you, you are anointed for greater works. We are not saved because of our own works. But we are recreated in Christ to do good works.

1. GOOD WORKS:

Let us read the red letter words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matt.25:34-40: “ Then the king will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.

Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothed You? O when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? And the king will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, in asmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me”.

So, what are the good works? According to Jesus, the following are the good works: 1. Feeding the hungry,2. Giving clean water to the thirsty,3. Taking in a stranger,4. Clothing the naked,5. Visiting the sick, 6. Going to the people in prison(jail). These are very important good works even today. As a servant(Minister) of God, I am having burden in my mind(soul) for helping these needy people. I experienced some of these basic needs in my own life in the last few years. Let us care for the least, poor, orphans and widows even in this year end season. The Living God Ministries does good works for these people. 2. GOOD NEWS:

Another mark of a Born again believer or GOSPEL Minster is preaching or sharing the Good news: “ The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart; and a good report maketh the bones fat”(Prov.15:30). “ As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country”(Prov.25:25).

The good news is coming from Heaven. The Good News is about our Lord Jesus Christ. Good news is like a cold water to a weary soul. We need to quench the soul thirst of millions of people. Good news is also called good report. It is not a bad report. God is good, Jesus is good. People need to hear the good news. I am a preacher of this good news(GOSPEL) to many people through various media. Gospel is free, but to preach the gospel in all over the world, it needs money. Therefore, Money is important. Please, help us reach the multitude of people with the Good News. “ O taste and see that the LORD Is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in Him”(Psalm 34:8).

3. THE GOOD SHEPHERD:

Who is the Lord? Jesus is LORD. He is good. You are blessed when your hope and faith is on Him. Let us read John10:11,14. Jesus said: “ I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd and know My sheep and am known of mine”. Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He is equating Himself with the old testament great I am that I am. He is LORD. Jesus the Good Shepherd gave His life for us on the cross of Calvary. He knows you very well better than you know about yourself, He calls you by your name, just like a good shepherd calls his sheep by name. He loves you. You are mine says the LORD.
